Who We Are
Wing Snob started in 2013 with a simple, stubborn belief: most chicken wings just aren't good enough. Founder Marcus Webb grew up watching his grandmother perfect her hot sauce in a tiny Chicago kitchen, and that same relentless attention to flavor became the heartbeat of everything we do.
We opened our doors at 7115 W North Ave in Oak Park with a menu of six signature sauces and a commitment to fresh, never-frozen wings. Today we offer over 20 house-crafted sauces and dry rubs, serve thousands of loyal regulars each month, and cater events across the greater Chicago area — but the standards set in that first tiny kitchen haven't moved an inch.

2013 — The Beginning
Marcus Webb opens the first Wing Snob location on W North Ave, Oak Park with just six sauces, six bar stools, and an unshakeable belief that wings could be so much better.
2015 — First Recognition
Two years in, the Chicago Tribune names Wing Snob one of the top five wing spots in the metro area. The line out the door changes everything.
2017 — Menu Expansion
We grow our sauce lineup to 20 house-made recipes and launch our catering service, bringing Wing Snob flavor to weddings, game days, and corporate events across Chicagoland.
2019 — Digital Growth
Wing Snob launches a full online ordering and delivery platform. Within 90 days, online orders account for 40% of total revenue — and we never look back.
2021 — Community Impact
We launch the Oak Park Roots Program, partnering with local schools and youth sports teams, providing sponsorships, meals, and mentorship opportunities for the next generation.
